I'm sorry to hear that some folks have had such a bad experience at Polo Park. I moved into one of the renovated apartments back in July 2007 and feel very much at home and happy with my choice. There is simply no comparasion between Polo Park and some of the other (often newer) communities in the area. Admittedly, the construction has been a pain and added to the noise and traffic...but that's just what construction does. The freshly remodeled apartments are the reward for putting up with all that. I will agree that sometimes the office staff forgets that they are in the customer serice industry, which is irritating but unfortunately all too common. I agree with the reviewer who found it best to ask Rick whenever they needed something done. I've found that to be the best way to an issue resolved. Overall I've been satisfied with maintenance, having had only one small issue that I've been unable to get repaired. As for some other writer's complaint's about their neighbors...well...this is an apartment community. I've had to ask a couple of my neighbors to turn down the stereo and would hope that they would do the same if my music was disturbing them. I don't feel that the walls are any thinner at Polo Park than they are at any other apartment complex.
Bottom line, Polo Park isn't perfect but it has a lot going for it. The renovation is almost done. I hear that soon the second lake will be refilled so views will improve. It's on the Stone's River Greenway. The facilities are new and top notch. Not a bad place to call home.
