The apartments at polo park are lovely indeed. The appliances and fixtures make the place look modern and appealing, but beware because looks can be deceiving. I am a current resident at polo park, and what I'm telling you is the truth. Below is a list of the issues I've had since DAY ONE.

1)First day of moving in.. locks didn't work, and NOONE from the emergency line came to fix it so I had to leave my things in an unlocked apartment while moving from my old place
2)Very weak ceilings: I heard EVERY step that the upstairs neighbors took, and it was annoying. Polo Park agreed to take up the carpet and tighten the floor boards when they moved out. This never happened and the new neighbors were even worse.
3) With the incident from #2, Polo Park agreed to let me move to another one of their lovely apartments, but I would have had to pay a transfer fee of $250 (even when they didn't do what they said they would)
4) Burst Pipe: Pipe burst in the apartment next door, and polo park moved quickly to get the carpet back in order. No renters insurance, so I lost damaged rugs. I have no problem with that. However, they were NEGLIGENT and did not cover any of the furniture that they moved (which they claimed was wet, but it wasn't). When they brought in huge fans to dry up the carpet, soot from the fireplace (which I've NEVER used) blew all over the apartment and ruined my sofas. I did not ask them to replace the fabric sofas. I asked them to compensate for cleaning, and they wouldn't.
5) TVs stolen from the work out facilities: Yes this really did happen. Polo Park's insurance replaced them about a month or two after
6) Lady robbed at gunpoint in the front of the complex: I have the papers to prove it.
7) When it rains next to my building, the water is EXCESSIVE because they don't have proper drainage, and you can't get in the car without wetting up the entire bottom of your pants.
Bottom line: Some things polo park can't prevent, but some they CAN. They just don't give a damn.

I agree with the "Bottom line: Some things polo park can't prevent, but some they CAN. They just don't give a damn".... Polo Park NEED to think and care more for all the residents NOT for themselves .... Where is the love and care .... successful business is NOT just about the Money and Profit .... SELFISH AND SELF CENTERED will not get far .... Polo Park need to have HEART .... Heart is the key to any success!!!

Agreed. I have lived at Polo Park since 3'08. The drainage is poor. Their is usually trash piled up beside the dumpster since their is only one here. The noise from the airplanes adn guns from the police academy down the road can get annoying. Maintenance has been ok. They have always changed air filters and sprayed for bugs every month BUT I could never get them to do anything about some sort of animal that sounded like it was scratching inside my walls in the laundry room (which is in my bedroom). They looked at me like I was crazy ehwn I descibed it. They said they cam out and it was probably just a squirrel. Well about 2 months later it stopped? I was cleaning out the outside storage and found that all my boxes had been eaten into and there were rat droppings everywhere with a dead fat RAT to match!YUCK! I have a 1BD/1BTH only 600 sq ft but my elec bill is always about 125.00 ans I dont run it that much. Yes, the TV's were stolen from the gym and replaced about 1.5 months later covered by the apartments insurance. Overall it's an ok place but due to the increase in rent im moving in March 2009. I dont mind paying 750.00 for an apartment remind you 1BD/1Bth 600 sq ft if it's a nice place to live.

Did you say 750 for a one bedroom? They advertise 758 for a TWO bedroom on Craigslist. http://nashville.craigslist.org/apa/1451857395.html
