We have lived here over a year and are currently looking for a new place to live. The apartments are extremely cold in the winter! You can actually feel a cold breeze from the floors. I called about the "amazon roaches" (1-2 inches long) and was told they were water bugs and came out when it was wet. Ants are frequent guests. The apartment complex sends someone to spray for them, though the ants have grown an immune system to their spray. I spend at least $110 a year to fight the ants. Wasps have nests in the roofs of the building. Though there has been "an attempt" to rid the residents of the wasps, it was in vain, with no further attemtps. Please be advised, the wasps do swarm you when walking by them, even if not provoked. There are a few 3-4 foot drop holes throughout the property, which have valves in them and rusty nails to scrape you when you step in one. There are grates that have sunken in the ground and are a trip hazard. Litter covers the property from the children, not to mention the wooded area offers a sex haven for them (not pretty to witness.) There are several areas not well lit at night, creating a danger for women and those who are not paying attention! Every few months there are multiple car break-ins. Maintneance is sweet! However, management often does not relate work orders to them!
Be prepared to wait months on large work orders! (However, Management is always friendly.) If you live in apartments with people above you, you can hear everything they do. Everything. Black mold is a problem, along with leaky roofs. The area Bellevue is not what it once was! I agree with a previous writer, it's going by it's name only! Overall, this once was probably a grat place to live, with LOTS of space! Now it is in dire need of TLC. I would recommend the projects, they "may" have better standards due to being government ran.
