...is any where but here. Okay, these apartments are OLD! All the paint and speckle don't cover up the years of hell these walls have seen. It sure is cold in the winter. You could fly a kite from the draft that comes in through the windows. Another thing that makes it hard for you to heat your apartment is where the air vents are located. They are at the top near the ceiling. We all know that heat rises so why would you have air vents so high' I don't know how long it's been since they have had the air ducts cleaned out. Seems like all the vents blow out is dust. If you change the filters they are dirty in a few days ... corroded in a week or two. The dusty air WILL cause you to cough at night. Yeah there are some big roaches. Not the little ones you get from being dirty ... these look like they came straight from the rain forest. I came home and one day and this roach was using my phone. I was so shocked all I could say was "that better not be long distance." I think I am going to start charging my roaches rent because the office isn't doing anything about them. In the summer you better watch out. Red wasp live in the roof. This is dangerous because I know some people are allergic. They swarm around and sting people. I don't think they can literally do anything because the wasp nests are the only thing keeping the roof together. If they get rid of all the nests the roof will fall apart. People with dogs are a problem. They let their dogs sh** on the side walks. It's disgusting. I'm sick of seeing piles of dog mess on the walk ways. Can't you pick up after your dog' I'm sick of getting in the car, smelling a fowl odor, and realizing I stepped in dog crap. I wish I knew who did it. I would have no problem taking one big dump right in front if their door so they step right in it when they walk out to walk their dog. Then maybe they will be more considerate of the other residents here. Most of the neighbors are great people. There are a few kids that cause problems. You can't let your kids play outside because you got a few kids beating everyone up and another little boy cursing up a storm. I have heard less from a sailor. If you got bad ass kids you know it. Don't blame everything on everyone else's kids. The parents don't want to do anything but point fingers and scream at each other. If you would just discipline your kids and teach them how to behave it would be a lot easier. There is never a boring day at Post Ridge. If the police are not being called because the gang of teen boys A.K.A. The Post Ridge's Punk Posse (the ones with BB guns, fire works..., etc.) for causing problems or vandalizing cars the dumpsters are getting set on fire. It's just one thing after another. Post ridge isn't that bad. I mean if you put plastic over the windows, cover the kitchen counters with contact paper, take plenty of cough medicine, wear a bee keepers suit in the summer, and charge your roaches rent you will have an okay experience here at post ridge. If I had to do it over again I think I would choose to move some where else. Where' I don't know because most of the other apartment posts around here say pretty much the same thing. Holla
