One of the worst places to live!

After reading the reveiws, I'd only hope that this place turned out better after I left. It looks like the "Kims" didn't do any better than Lisa. This place has such potential, it is sad that it isn't recognized. The floor plans are great and spacious. I lived in a tri-level town home. The sizing was great. The grounds were always kept up very well and always had the first flowers out. The giant hill at the entrance was never slick in the winter either. Mail was delivered at the door. That is really about as nice as it goes.
Trash recepticales were far for everyone.
When I moved in our toilets upstairs were in the bathtubs and I was told we could join a gym and shower there (at our expense of course)I elected to not move in until they were finished...which was 3 weeks later.
We moved in and there were roaches everywhere. Ones big enough you could put a saddle on. I am allergic to roaches and even with that information, nothing was done about it. They sprayed chemicals that were toxic to pets and to humans.
We had ants and in the spring - fleas. The best was rattlesnakes - I AM NOT JOKING! So I guess you can say that this place that we affectionately called Roach Ridge and Post Roach provided pets if you didn't have them.
As far as maintenance we came home one day to find 3 birds sitting on our dining room table and a squirrel on the stairs in a dead stare with our dog. Our dining room window just fell out of the wall the entire structure...no broken glass just popped out. It took 9 days to have them replace the window...this was fall and we faced the woods. We too often went with out air conditioning.
The ample threats from the staff was wonderful to. You complain - get out. We tried to be nice about things, but that really got us no where. I wish they would just get people in there who would care. I also enjoy the responses to the messages/reviews by residents...the staff attacking them and calling them every name in the book. So for those of you who would want to live in apartments in the Nashville area...try South Wind in Franklin...affordalbe, spacious and the staff is great! There are also several along Charlotte that are really nice too. DO NOT MOVE HERE! 595 Hicks Road was a nightmare

Bugs, most definitely. And there wasn't a day that went by without trash being thrown into the parking lot/driveway (bags of half-eaten fast food, trash, used condom packets, etc). My new car was Paintballed by someone's kids less than a week after I bought it. A neighbor in one of the front buildings committed suicide, and there were fires on 3 different occasions in the back buildings. Parking was few and far between, and if there was a party at someone's apartment, you could forget finding a parking spot at all. While I never saw a rattlesnake, there were tons of bugs including roaches and ant infestations that were very hard to get rid of. They sure loved my dishwasher, which I never used because the trays were broken and couldn't be pulled out or pushed in. Also, the buildings were slowly falling apart (or settling) as management called it(yeah, 30 years after they were built), which meant that my walls had large cracks, ONE door in the entire apartment closed correctly, and my bathroom had a pipe that was slowly pushing its way up through the middle of the floor. Granted, the landscaping for the most part was nice, but it's too bad that the complex couldn't even spring for fences to cover up the ugly dumpsters that constantly had garbage surrounding them, and spilling out from the tops.
