I was initially very excited to move to Riverbend apts because the amount for rent was reasonable. After my first month, I learned why. Within a month, I was mugged right outside my apartment by gunpoint. In addition, when I contacted the management to let them know what happened they didn't care. Also, the neighbor living above me was a drug dealer. Therefore, he had many late night visitors and started some violent fights with his friends around 2am.
Not to mention that the management was the worst I have ever seen. For instance, my kitchen ceiling was dripping water. It took about two weeks for them to figure out that the water pipes above my apartment were not connected. Also, when I signed the lease I noted that there was a hole in the bathroom that might lead to mold, which nobody ever came to check on. That is just a few of the numerous events that occurred while I was living there.
Overall, I would not recommend anyone to ever live here. Especially for any single females.
