Gone Downhill

When we first moved here in 1998 it was really quite nice, lots of long term residents, responsive management, etc. The last two years have seen a steady decline in management and overall condition of the complex. Current management is extremely unprofessional, routinely posting demeaning and threatening memos. Last summer the pool repeatedly failed inspection resulting in a lengthy delay in opening for the season. The building has not been pressured washed in years resulting in a lot of dust. Bird feces are everywhere. Yes, there are train tracks very close by but we enjoy the sound of the infrequent trains. Yes, there is a water treatment facility next to the property and yes there are times when the smell of raw sewage is extreme, as is the smell of Tidy Bowl when the city addressed the sewage smell. We will not be renewing our lease, primarily due to the unprofessional management.
