We moved into this apartment few months back and beleived everything will be fine. After one month we learned it is not worth the money. The apartments have many problems to mention a few, unruly neighbors making the place insecure (car-breaking, mugging), dirty and old interior, walls and ceilings breaking, in-experience maintenance staff(they may come, but do the job unprofessionally and mostly requires calling second/third time), frequantly they stop the water supply (even the cold), and recently they stop the gas heating during the weekends and get it on mondays, saving their gas bill for 2 days a week. It is not worth paying a high utility bill to them for not using cold AC/heating. They keep syaing it is a maintenance problem but it happens regularly in weekends. Other apartment complexes nearby (atleast two) provide much better service for the same money. We are stuck here till our agreement expires. I would rate this place a not worth to stay.

to person who wrote this please note it is against Metro Codes for any landlord to cut off heat or not to provide heat to your home. Something is strange if this is happening on wk-ends on regular basis. Call Metro Health Dept & codes. Please note, you are on a boiler system. It is not HVAC central system. You have central ventilization but not system. So heat can be shut off by shutting off the boilers in the 3 locations on that property. You can call Nashville Gas to find out why you don't have heat. Next time you don't have heat, call your office or emergency # for maint., when they give you an excuse or reason, then call Nashville Gas to see if they were responsible in any way. Like bill not being paid but if it's just on wk-ends, good guess, is they are shutting off the boilers and this is a major violation of Metro Codes and Federal Fair Housing which you can call them also. This will be investigated.

this is true. check with Metro codes & call them. Maybe they didn't pay the bill as they don't always do. They've been cut off before and the previous manager in sept/oct.2004 called & begged them and the electric company not to disconnect them. Gas co. did cut them off and she begged explaining many children & older people living there, they came out & put back on till monday. This happened on as sat. call gas company when this happens and ask why no gas/heat/hot water, they'll tell you there's no problem or if bill not paid.

If I were you I would try to break the lease. I used to live there last year, and moving out was the best decision I ever made. Its worth the hassle to move out and find a better and safer place to live
