I have enjoyed living here at Royal Arms. I have few complaints.

Our kitchen was spacious! Amazing for an apartment. Prices are very decent for being in the middle of Green Hills. It's a great location---around the corner from grocery stores, newly redone mall, pharmacies, gas stations, etc. everything you need.

most residents are nice and fairly quiet. i have rarely heard our neighbors. a lot of residents are retirees. other residents are mainly lipscomb university students and there are many of them. but they seem friendly (it's a christian university...small private college) and they don't cause trouble as you might see in other apartment complexes.

complaints: dumpster in VERY BACK corner of complex...lots of fun to drive trash all the way back there...umm...fire station hundreds of feet away...a plus if there's a fire...a negative in the middle of the night...not as nice as perhaps the gardens of green hills but a lot cheaper and it works for me.

parking was often a problem if you get back after suppertime. i often parked several buildings down. they don't budge on rent prices b/c they keep it pretty full b/c of the students.

our friends got fleas in their apt. (aparently perhaps from neighbor with pets) and it took the office several days to get it taken care of...they ended up purchasing their own stuff to kill it all...some maintenance problems weren't taken care of for a few days...didn't seem to be a priority a lot of the time

To the last statement- If you have ever had fleas, they are tough to get rid of. It does take a few days and work from the person living in the apartment to completely clear the home of the little critters. Maintenance, unless an emergency can sometimes take a day or two to finish. From what I know, the community has several apartments and no heat and major leaks usually take priority. Give them a break!

getting a little heated about these fleas aren't you nevanmorawe. the partial problem was the fact that it took days for the complex to adress the problem. everyone knows that fleas are difficult to get rid of. not to mention that fleas are parasites, jumping all over you, sucking your blood, and leaving bumps on your leg which are alergic reactions to their saliva. that, to me, sounds like something that should be taken care of immediately instead of a couple of days. that is a major health concern. especially, when an apartment contracts that work out to be done by someone else, why shouldn't someone expect pest control at their door step the next day? respect is a two way door that both parties have to walk through. not only that, but this guy was tasteful and respectful, giving the apartment complex a good rating. nevanmorawe, you might want to cut this guy a little slack.
