I have lived here since May and love my apartment, however you get what you pay for when it comes to the office staff. They are rude, Wesley especially, and you always have to call back several times to get anything accomplished. When we moved in, we were told that the clothes dryer had to be vented by a "ventless dryer kit" that could be purchased at Home Depot. Basically it involved running the dryer hose into a plastic container filled with water. We thought that was odd, but why would they lie to us! (ha ha)
Now we find out that not only is that a fire hazard and a health hazard, due to moisture it creates in your closet when the dryer is running - which, as an added bonus can also cause your clothes to mildew! - but that the office knows of these issues and will almost immediately send someone to vent the dryer to the outside if you call them! They won't offer it, but they are afraid of getting reported so they do it if you complain - how nice!
They also go out of their way to avoid paying you resident referral fees, but that is another rant for another day!
