I had the same problems and I lived there for 12 years. The manager is all up in everybody's business and needs to stay out of others business. Any opportunity she sees to make money she does. I agree with you on when Elizabeth was the manager. She did what was right and respected all of the tenants, unlike Eleanor Walker. Maintenance was very good when Elizabeth was manager. Maintenance with Eleanor as manager is not so good. Men that doesn't know what they are doing and wants to rig stuff just to make it work. She uses the maintenance guy to work on heating/ac when he is not qualified to work on things like this. And I must add he sure doesn't know anything about heating/air. A closet rod fell once and he rigged it up and it looked terrible instead of fixing it correctly. I ended up fixing it myself the way it should have and it was even more secure than the way the maintenance guy did. Storage is horrible at this place. There is not even a linen closet in the apartment. The only storage is 2 closets, one in each bedroom. The entire 12 years I was there they never came in to clean the carpets or to paint the walls. Then when I moved out, because she just continued to increase my rent, she wanted to charge me with the cost of repainting and cleaning the carpets. Wouldn't that be considered general maintenance' I thought so. So took them to court and guess who won. I did. The nosey, unprofessional manager, Eleanor Walker lost this one and the judge did not honor her even the cost of gas for her trip to the court.
