I would only live there again under new management

I lived in Sterling Court for 3 years until I moved out recently. At first, it was a wonderful place to live. I could overlook all the problems with the management and maintenance. But after years of repeated phone calls regarding maintenence issues, I could no longer sit by and watch this beautiful building be run into the ground. There were times when I would call for several days in a row before a problem would even be addressed. And once it was addressed, it was done so in such a horrible way, it would either get worse (water damage, mildew, mold) or just simply be patched only to come back a month later. This is an overall consensus of several of the residents and not just my personal opinion. The rent is completely inflated and unjustified. As of today, I have been out for 10 weeks and still have not received any word on my deposit despite appoximately 3 calls a day for the last 2 weeks. I left my apartment clean, freshly painted, and with updated stainless switch plates and electical outlet covers (all at my expense). There is no reason for me not to receive my deposit back except for poor management.

You should contact Metro Nashville Zoning department and they can tell you who owns the complex. That's how I got my deposit returned. Autmumn never called me back.
