*As others have said, water leakage is a HUGE problem. It won't be fixed properly. We have water leakage in our bathroom and around the sliding glass door.

*Maintanance fixes small problems promptly but larger problems take multiple reporting and sometimes go unfixed.

*Parking is ok. If you are too lazy to walk a little ways if you come home late you won't like it, but its not bad for those of us who have lived in other cities and know what slim parking is really like.

*Some of the office staff is incompetent. One woman tried to convince us to sign our lease even though there was an incomplete sentance that we asked her to fix. It took several weeks to take care of the problem.

*The pools and work out room don't open until 10am and close at 10pm. It would be nice to have more hours.

*It would be nice to have more than one treadmill in the work out room. It is always taken.

*We've NOT had problems with bugs or rodents which is really nice compared to other apartments we've been in.

*There is no playground for children. The open grassy areas often have broken bottles, rusty nails, etc.

*When the neighbors are loud you will definately hear them. When the people above us jump we see the ceiling sway.

*Some complain that the apartments are small but compared to other cities they are not bad.

*Close to I-40. Be careful which apartment you choose. Ours is far from 40 and not loud at all.

*The closer to the main office you are the better the landscaping and cleaning around you apartment will be.

*Maintanence members are mostly heavy smokers and will leave the odor in your apartment everytime they come.

*The natural vegetation has been left which makes it very pretty but also somewhat damp. Easy access to bike/walking trail.

*Some new businesses are going in. Check out the Gyros place on Stewart's Ferry.

*Another reviewer said the appliances are old but our clothes washer and dish washer are brand new. The fridge is only a few years old. The dryer is very old but works.

*Free washer and dryer.

*They charge an obscene amount for water. Probably because they empty and refill the pools every five minutes. This sucks because we have NO control over how much is used and charged to us. I would REALLY like separate meters for each apartment.

I'm the person who wrote the original review. The leaking problem around the sliding glass door is much much worse than before. They continue to ignore it unless I act like a drama queen. Then they send out a so-called contractor who caulks around the cracks. They have to hire a contractor to use a caulking gun? The contractor has been here three times and its still not fixed. Also, my dryer has been leaving marks on my clothes. They come out here and "fix" it which works for a month or so then it starts again. One of the maintanance guys said that if I keep complaining they'll eventually give me a new one, but I'm not sure how much of my laundry needs to be messed up in the meantime. We're planning to move. One of the major reasons is the water leaking problem.
