Stewarts ferry has pretty grounds, decent rent amounts, and a mostly great staff. The only problem is, you are not particularly safe here. When I first moved in, there was a big problem with cars being broken into. A few months down the road, apts and townhomes started getting broken into and a lot of valuable stuff was taken. I had been lucky to avoid this crime spree that hasn't been stopped until recently. All my locks were locked and there was no way to get into my townhome. So the robber or robbers decided to bust my bedroom window to get inside. Most of my valuables were taken. I also must add that this was done while I was at work during the middle of the day.
So if you plan on living here, it would be wise to get renters insurance and an alarm system.
For over two years now this has been happening in the complex, yet no one ever seems to see anything and no one has been caught. We just get random letters on our doors to be aware and cautious. But no matter how cautious you are, they can still shatter your windows.

yep. the grounds are pretty much the only good thing about the old run-down property.

I've lived in the town homes for almost three years and I totally agree with this review. Stay away from this dumphole.

Gee you lived here for three years and now you call it a dump lol. What happen they kick you out? I lived in Polo Park and things got stolen in fact a guy had his motorcycle stolen from in front on his door after he got home at 3am. There is no where free from crime.

This is common in most apartments I think because they are easy targets. Living on the third floor is a huge deterrent.
