2007 - We've lived here almost 2 years and I totally agree with the review written by the person in 2004. My husband and I live alone and our water bills are $65 a month in a 2 bedroom. Every month they go up and yes we were gone one month almost 3 weeks not at the apt. and our bills STILL increased. The staff is rude. I just hung up with one who really mad me angry. The Manager Berlita is super nice and tries to resolve issues, and the maintenance has gotten better, but the Parking is TERRIBLE. Never parking space at night.. and no parking stickers or any way to track residence. People throw parties, have guests and you park a long ways away in rain at night w/ groceries.. because noone her controls the residents parking.
I was told via email by The Asst Mgr, kevin that water bills go up due to ZONING Changes by the city and Stewarts Ferry is now zoned COMMERICIAL. I call Metro water to be told that isnt true - no zoning has changed for this apt. They have 4 meters, and have always been zoned commercial and metro hasnt increased their rates.. Also folks live here that arent on the lease, so you have 2 people on a lease and they have 2 other friends living w/ them and they use water and you pay your neighbors bills. Its unfair.. and ridiculous. Also they bill you here for GARBAGE pick up $6.50.. be sure to ask about that. as it wasnt discussed w/ us when we moved in.. So you pay Electic, Garbage, water and sewer - go buy a house, makes more sense and less expensive. And your rent will go up EVERY renewal. Dont let the move in specials fool you- they will increase it the first time you renewal your lease to make up for it. Pet is a FEE not deposit - $300 NON refundable fee.

I agree about the water. Its crazy that i am paying for my neighbors water, when I am never home. Also, my electric has gone up an average of 20 per month since I moved here, and I am using less electricity, somthing is wrong an no one will look into it :(

We paid more for water when we lived at Stewart's Ferry than we do now in a house with a yard and garden even when the kids are running through the slip and slide all summer. They are definitely ripping you off for water. As for the electric bill, this is a problem for everyone in Nashville not just apartment dwellers. Everyone's bills are going up. TVA is responsible for this.
