I would like to say that I have lived in apartments for the last 20 years. We have good credit and are good neighbors. Unfortunately I would like to say that I do not agree with one of the comments that the negative reviews are from rude childish people who have been evicted. I have never been evicted & am still a resident. The asst mgr who rented our apt was questioned about paying water when we leased 2 yrs ago. I told him water was very high when I lived here before and he ASSURED us not to worry they use a different billing company and water would run about $35 dollars mth in a 2 bedroom and at most $40 average. Our bills are ALWAYS ALWAYS $65 for WATER, then they started charging garbage pickup which they dont go over. So you pay water, sewer and garbage and an Administrative fee, as well as there was a Garbage pickup increase for use of dumpster. Mgr. is VERY nice, I love her but her staff has not always been the best. Parking is a huge issue and 2 years ago we were asked TWO TIMES to have our Lisc plate number and they were getting parking tags - 2 yrs goes by, no parking policy or tags and One car has sat here since November 07 and we've reported it many times and they wont tow it and noone drives it, and now their tags are expired. Also, the cat issue is mostly an issue because dumpsters become overloaded with garbage and the doors are left open and cats get in them and eat food. Also there are idiots that do feed stray cats which doesnt help. I've had several complaints with parties, loud noise, people who disrespect the property and neighbors. Unfortunately that is a part of Apt living. BUT overall the Rent price is fair.. the Utilities -- Water and Electric are outragious . Sq footage is small. They charge very every option.. Fireplace extra, high ceiling extra.. they even changed our lease the 3th day we were here saying the leasing agent made a "mistake" and they raised our rent after we first signed it. (not legal is it').. So, to be honest, we are not happy. Maintenance is ok.. depending on who you get. They have focused on service w/ maintenance lately and its improved.. Bugs are bad during certain times of year (Large outside roaches from wooded areas) they come in front door.. and are difficult to control even when your very clean.. they live in tree area. I'd suggest that these apts are definately better than some, but they are not what they were 7 years ago. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC
