Decent place to live

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
I have lived here almost a year and have little to complain about, and I LOVE to complain. Espcially about rentals. And ex-boyfriends. Plus I hate this city and am moving away as quick as possible, so if i was gonna complain, I'd definately let 'er rip now. Oddly to my surprise I've found my gripes here are rather trivial at Stewarts Ferry.
Cons:
1. Wasps get in through cracks around screen, however I havne't notified management of this yet so I can't comment on if they will fix this soon.
2. Poor kitchen and master bathroom design - very cramped in both rooms. Terrible design, I think they could have done a way better job with the layout. You can break your leg taking a pee or putting dishes away from the dishwasher.
3. The deck is in dire need of board replacements, nails heaving up and rotted wood that looks a bit weak.
Pros:
1. No crime that I have noticed, and I come from a rough city and have been robbed and almost carjacked. I feel very safe here.
2. Spacious rooms (excluding kitchen and bath).
3. Very quiet! I'm very impressed with how silent it is here, only had one neighbor blasted music once. I do hear planes a lot but that is not in the apartment s control.
4. Very inexpensive for the amount of room I have.
5. Staff is very friendly, the jump right on requests for me. Lisa has stayed late to help me with questions.
6. Access to Stones river.
7. Great pool, work out and raquet ball court.
8. Lots more but this is boring me now.
So in a nutshell, I would recommend Stewarts Ferry. I ve known some people who live at the next exit down, 220 I think it s old hickory. They complain A LOT about spider problems and rotting wood at the complexes there. I ve not noticed a single spider in here or rotting wood. Happy Apartment hunting!
