The Cumberland

This place looks nice to the outsider, but don't be fooled by the seemingly friendly leasing staff. You will regret living here if you ever do. Here are several reasons: (1)the rent is higher than market value and they will raise it as often as they can to run you out and let other folks move in, (2)the owners are money hungry and will charge you for everything like late rent where they give you a $100 penalty, (3)if you have friends who want to come and visit you, they won't be able to because there is no visitor parking in the garage or anywhere downtown. They will have to pay a minimum of $5 to visit your place, which means that very few folks ever come over to visit, (4)the place is loud. You can her people's television and conversations from anywhere in the hall or near the apartment. (5)The grill/patio area is nice, but just realize that there is one grill for about 200 residents. Do the math and see how often you'll be sitting there for an hour with a raw steak in your hand. (6)They charge you for every little thing that you might need or find wrong with the apartment when you move out. (7)They charge you almost $100 for parking also. I guess they think that people who live here don't need parking spots and are going to take the bus to work and the grocery store (which is nowhere close to the apartment by the way).
I could go on and on, but here are a few reasons. I know they look cool and worth moving into, but you will regret it. Don't take a chance on this place.
