What seemed to be a pleasent place to live turned rapidly into a night-mare. The apartment was comfortable and i enjoyed living downtown. The problems started at the end of my second year lease when managment decided they were justfied in a rent increase of over 20%. Talk about bait and switch. When I complained their answer was a flat "we have a waiting list of tenants and if you aren't will to pay the increase we have someone to take your place." needless to say i told them where they could stick their lease and that's when things got really ugly. I am still fighting with them about inflated and made up bills for damages to the apartment that either did not occur or were problems with their property and no fault of mine. I see a lawyer in my future so my suggestion to you is run away from the Cumberland as fast as you can...
