I was prepared to move into the Knolls. My boyfriend lived with a roommate on the property and it was nice. I decided I would rent a one bedroom. There was no model to show and they had only one available on the date I needed an apartment. I paid the deposit and then weeks later THE DAY I WAS MOVING IN, I went with one of the leasing agents to do a "walk-through" before signing the lease.
The apartment smelled like cat piss. If anyone knows what that smells like you know that just shampooing it will not get rid of it. They REFUSED to replace the carpet. Here I was with a moving truck filled up and ready to unload and the property manager (Barbara) was a complete jerk to me. I was so frustrated I was in tears because I had no where to go. I NEVER SIGNED A LEASE...but they refused to give me back my deposit EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE THE REASON I COULDN'T MOVE IN. It's affordable and all, but it sure isn't Luxury Apartments....and the staff is far from professional.

First of all, as I was employed there for nearly 5years. I can attest to the fact that they have 3 models. As for Barbara, you are the 1st person I have ever heard not love her! You picked The Knolls, you did not pick to build a new home and you should have specified at app signing you would require new carpet! Sorry for your trouble but get your info straight!!!

First of all, I have lived at the Knolls for about two years and Barbra is the rudest person I have ever met. Andrea, Megan and the rest of the staff is wonderful, but Barbra and her husband are the definite downfalls.

I HAVE LIVED AT THE KNOLLS FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS NOW AND I AM MOVING OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH. BUT ONLY BECAUSE I NOW REQUIRE 3 BEDROOMS AND 2 FULL BATHS. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON! I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED VERY NICELY THERE AND WOULD RECOMEND THEM TO ANYONE. THEIR ONE DRAWBACK THOUGH IS THE NEIGHBORHOOD OUTSIDE THE COMPLEX - TOWN HAS GONE TO ----! -------- EVERYWHERE YOU TURN! I MISS YOU ASHLEY. YOU WERE GREAT! MIKE
