Going to sec 8 look out her come the projects From: scaredofsec8 Date posted: 2/12/2004 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004   I have lived here for 3 years and I just got a letter from the owners saying they will now be taking sec-8. Sec-8 is for the fools who wont work you know the ones who live in the projects down town. we will still pay $600.00 plus and they get to pay $10.00 per month this is unfair to those of us who work hard. Look out here comes trouble and for those of us who make over $20,000.00 per year guess what. We wont qulify for renewal now because we will be considred over the allowable income for a sec-8 property. I dont know about you but I am looking for some where else to live. thanks for reading
