Its True Sec 8 is coming From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/25/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   My previous statment is true you may not have received a letter all this means is that you are under the income level as for the office telling you they are not going to accept sec-8 they do not have to annouce it until they actually start the process just check with Dept of Human resource they are on the list for acceptable housing for next year. So Beware its coming! I have lived here for 3 years and I just got a letter from the owners saying they will now be taking sec-8. Sec-8 is for the fools who wont work you know the ones who live in the projects down town. we will still pay $600.00 plus and they get to pay $10.00 per month this is unfair to those of us who work hard. Look out here comes trouble and for those of us who make over $20,000.00 per year guess what. We wont qulify for renewal now because we will be considred over the allowable income for a sec-8 property. I dont know about you but I am looking for some where else to live. thanks for reading
