Some problems, but good overall From: LakesRenter Date posted: 7/29/2002 Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002   I have enjoyed living here. The staff is nice and the grounds are some of the prettiest in Nashville. Residents are mostly professionals and grad students. Noise is not usually a problem. There are several sponsored community mixers a year with free food, beer, and entertainment. Everyone is fairly community-minded and friendly. This is a highly dog-friendly community, too. Problems: rent increases with EVERY lease renewal by 3-4% and the maintenance staff is slow to move on problems. To get really good service, you have to be prepared to complain and be a little pushy about problems. Also, the office staff does not seem to communicate well with the maintenance staff and contractors.
