My apartment was flooded after the christmas holiday (the hot water heater busted due to the age of it- from 1970s!) They had no idea how long it had been running (I had a basement apt so no one compained) but there was water and BLACK MOLD everywhere. After the manager made a smart comment about how I did not have renters insurance (since I was responsible for all of my belongings even though the flood was not my fault) it took them A WEEK to get the place back in order. And all they did was remove the carpet padding and dry out the carpet (WHICH NOW I KNOW SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED). After that I and my puppy began feeling sick all of the time (there was actually mold under the carpet!) and there were little bugs coming in from all over the apartment (which I was told by the management was due to the weather after the refused to spray a second time). Just beware of what you are walking into in this place. You have no idea what has happened before and how they BANDAGED the problem with the least expenses...not how it should have been done.
