Yes, when you enter the Lakes of Bellevue the grounds are very nice. But the inside of the apartments are old and run down. The insulation is terrible. I also personally had an issue with a spider infestation problem. Not just any spiders, brown recluses! I struggled with the apartment staff to have it fixed for over a month. NOTHING! Finally after going over their head, I was moved to a new apartment, which wasnt much better. As I was moving my couch I found a bunch of Brown recluses so I pulled off the back cover and what do you know....A NEST OF THEM! So I ended up having to throw away my pricey furniture. Was I reimbursed by the complex''!'!'! NO!!!!
This would be a frustrating issue on its own, but here is the kicker.. I have a toddler. And yes she did get bitten. I took her to the doctor immediately and luckily she did not have a terrible reaction to it. I finally broke my lease and got the heck of there!
Do you self a favor and keep looking!!

I agree, the looks on the outside are great but once you get into the nitty gritty of the complex and the management that is where you run into the problem....

Thank goodness our lease is up in June!!! We are going to buy a house and get rid of all the problems that come with this complex! It seems like the longer you stay the more issues come up!!!

What kind of house do you keep if you have nests of bugs living with you? Most of the bug infestations at the Lakes are from filthy people living in squalid conditions. You have to clean your apartments once in a while people!

The funny thing is as I read all these reviews, it's more then one person complaining about bugs and spiders. Infact about half of the reviews mention them. So that says one of two things....1 being a lot of "filthy people" live there or 2, the complex has a bug problem and could care less to fix it.
