Let's see, waterheater broke and flooded the entire apartment. They didn't even replace the carpet. Just pulled it up, sucked out the water, put some fans on it, then put it back down without ever tacking it back down. If you don't like living with cockroaches and various other insects, invest in lots of Raid. Management changed a couple years ago. There's a reason why all the previously helpful staff can be found working at another apartment complex in Bellevue. They installed new fire alarms that I know didn't work for 6 months or so. The pull in case of emergency box was just a bunch of exposed wires for over a month. There was a constant beeping coming from a control panel in one of the storage rooms that I reported probably 5 times before anyone came to check it out. The building alarms that did "work" liked to go off at 3 in the morning when there was a loud crack of thunder and lightning. Cops were constantly there for one reason or another. Trust me, there are better places to live nearby.

Okay, while I must admit to other bugs I have yet to see a cockroach in my apartment. As to the alarms - I live in one of the buidlings that the alarms work - it did go off at midnight one night due to the weather - the problem was that no one showed up till around 3 to turn it off!! You can't sleep with that noise! And yes, since the ownership change the quality of staff has changed as well - the caring and motivated staff that was is no more - there are no more newsletters and no more community activities either - it's very disappointing and I can honestly say that this is my last year at this complex unless something changes....

Out of curiosity, you mention that there is a better place to live nearby, and that there is better staff nearby, where are you referring to?
