The Lexington at Bellevue

Awful From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/16/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   I have lived at the Lexington for a little over a year, and I'm actually breaking my lease tomorrow and taking whatever penalties come with it. Where do I begin' 1. When I first moved in, my apartment was infested with ladybugs, spiders, and some other creepy crawly things. It took them six months to send someone to exterminate. 2. The water pressure is horrid. It's so bad that I have problems flushing my toilet and it seems that I have to call maintainace to plunge it everytime I use the restroom. I still feel dirty after I take showers because the water trickles out of the shower head. 3. Don't think about taking a bath in your garden tubs unless you feel like boiling some water on the stove first. The water heater is not so great. 4. I don't like the fact that there are no dumpsters around the community. You have to put your trash in your car and drive to a trash compactor that is almost always overflowing. 5. I usually don't worry about noise because I understand that this is "apartment living", but I have contacted the office and on-call officers about my noisy neighbors between 10 and 15 times and nothing has been done about the issue. I'm not talking about noises that can't be prevented like walking. I'm talking about THUMPING music and TV at 3 am on weekdays. 6. Parking sucks 7. People don't clean up after their pets. 8. Office cannot keep accurate records. 9. Gas bills are OUTRAGEOUS. It has been costing me about the same to heat my 2 bedroom apartment as it costs my parents to heat their 4 bedroom home. I could go on and on about this place. Please, just look else where.
