I have lived in the Lexington Apartments for two years and I have had an upstairs neighbor who is up all night. It started out with she and her live in boyfriend fighting from around midnight to 4 am 3-4 times weekly and now he's gone and she has multiple men in her apt at night and the stay up stomping around until about 4 am. The previous boyfriend was arrested for domestic violence one night and management continued to allow them to stay in the apartment. This happened July 2006 and he finally left Jan. 2008. Management has told us they will send her cure letters and if they're are any more problems the she will be evicted. That has yet to happen and we have called over and over again. Management even told us to get a neighbor up in the middle of the night to listen in or apartment as proof to what we are hearing (ridiculous!!!). I have proof and they do nothing. My mother has stayed with me and been awakened and several friends have been over and heard the noise and could not believe what they were hearing. Management does not care and they lie, we renewed our lease with the understanding that she was not going to renew and she did. So here we are still dealing with this ongoing problem and no resolution from management.

cantrell1112 - I had similar problem when I lived there and started writing the management company's headquarters. Once I wrote them a couple of times, I got a call from the property manager and she was more attentive. I also recommend calling the police (or the apartment security police) and reporting a disturbance of peace. A police report is the best proof.
