The reason the previous reviewers apartment is so hot is because of the piece of crap air unit this place has and being on top doesn't help with the sun baking the roof. I had a ground floor unit and had three of these units outside my bedroom window. Try sleeping next to three clanging diesel engines. Everything about the buildings are CHEAP!. Do not get an apartment on the 1st or 2nd floor. You will get to know your upstairs neighbor more than you would probably like. While most apartments have a one month rent penalty for breaking the lease the Preserve has a two month penalty. That should tell you something right there. Also, on the day I was to sign the lease and move in I could not see the apartment until I signed the lease. So I signed and when I went to check out my new apartment there were dead millipedes everywhere that had crawled under the patio door in the carpets. I didn't stay long! You can find cheaper apartments with better construction in Franklin and other outlying areas. And you will sleep better at night.
