Great Location, Bad Construction

The building is aesthetically pleasing from the outside, however the inside is beginning to fall apart. The fixtures are cheap. As an example, the blinds are those same plastic 1970-looking ones you may remember from your days in the dorms. The kitchens and bathrooms have probably not been redone since the building was first built. The biggest negative is the water. The building has been having water pressure problems since I moved in, and at times we do not have water all day (higher floors are most affected), sometimes for several days at a time without notice. Though, the more than one consequetive day of loss ceased a few months ago and the manager does at least try to give notice of water loss if the system is being worked on. The times we do not have notice are usually on weekends when the pressure system fails. The warm water only stays warm in the shower for 7-8 minutes, at least in my unit. I sometimes take half my shower, dry off, wait 30 minutes, then finish, because the water gets so frigid. The only reason to live here is for location, location, location. For the same price, and a little drive to campus, look at The Grove.
