While the building itself is fine and the staff couldn't be nicer, please do not even THINK about living in this building!

First, because of its location, the noise outside is horrible - we hear drunk people, loud music, garbage trucks, and sirens all night. But more importantly, the gate to the parking garage is often broken and left open, sometimes for days/weeks at a time. Last week, someone walked right into the garage and broke into several of the cars; no one heard anything, despite several car alarms going off. There are no cameras or nighttime security measures, and I won't drive home late at night because I don't want to be alone in the garage. Also, if the garage door breaks before someone is able to fix it or open it, it is stuck closed and you can't get your car out (which happened several times early in the morning on the way to work). I'm not paying $800/month to have my belongings stolen and my car stuck in the garage. If there were any parking around (which, of course, there isn't), I would rather park on the streets where there would be other people around instead of 50 nice cars in a closed-off space. Also, don't even think about having guests over - they won't be able to park.

Like I said, the staff is great, our apartment is clean and in good repair, but there are some fundamental problems with this building that make living here unacceptable. However, if the building takes serious steps to fix the garage and improve security, I would say that it is a fine, convenient place to live.
