I had numerous problems with the staff ... one outright lied and said the apartment was "beautiful" (meaning clean and ready to move into). When my roommate came to move, the apartment was FILTHY. It had not been cleaned although we had been told that it was. They finally called the cleaning service but had to pay for my roommate to stay in a hotel that night. Other problems include inconsistency before we moved in about availability and leasing terms. We also had trouble getting our security deposit back. This was not because of any condition of the apartment (we left it in excellent condition) but because they claimed that they had no record of us ever paying a deposit. I had to fax them a check stub just so they'd refund the deposit. If it weren't for location there is no way I'd live at Village at Vanderbilt. Read the other reviews for more details.
