Hi, having been at West End Terrace for many years, I really like it here.
The noise problem is average for many older apartments (most were built at the same time and were built in the same way).
The parking is great, I can always find a close place to park.
These apartments are located on the bus line, close to shopping, & I have always felt safe here.
As to the manager problem : approx 1/2 of the units are not owned or rented by the apartment manager (they are owned by INDIVIDUAL OWNERS).
Therefore, when renting from one of these owners, you don't have to deal with her.
Her rudeness, etc.
is only important if you happen to rent a unit from her.
Ask around to find a INDIVIDUAL OWNER who will usually charge much less rent (usually save at least $1000/yr), who will promptly take care of problems with professional repair people & not the 'tape it together' maintenance man at apartment, and who will appreciate their renters and try to make them enjoy renting here.
Again, over half for these units are owned by people not connected with the manager/rental agent in the office.
My unit is less than $500/mo.
vs hers starting at $575/mo., I do not have to deal with her, and my maintenance is prompt & correctly done.
Ask around, this can be a great place to live if you can find one owned by a INDIVIDUAL OWNER.

Your rent is cheaper because you do not do my repairs I rent from private owner and he is never do my work and the apt is not professionally cleaned like the other ones why did you try to hire that maintenance man to do your work on my unit then you need to tell the truth

so u have a lot of repairs. The values of the all the condos has doubled since the Manager/Owner has been here. Everytime she gets rid of some of u posters the property value goes up The fact that she get more rent is testament to the quality of the place and her units. Your just use to living in ghetto palces where rent is aroung $300.00 a month . that is the only place u qualify to live. or they so desperate to rent to anyone.
