It has been five and a half months since I moved out of The Columns condominium, apt #9, which is managed by Westmont.

I gave them 30-days notice, provided them with my new address, and even let in other people to see the apartment while I still lived there. I did clean up the apartment before moving out and got no compaints from the management. I hoped everything would be alright.

I do not know and I don't want to know what went wrong with their automated system that keeps deposit records. I just want my deposit back!

For almost half a year, the managers keep telling me that they sent me the check, but I still have not gotten it. Now they don't even return my phone calls.

As to the apartment #9, I can say that it is not worth the money. Because of too many single-frame windows it gets too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. The A/C is very loud inside the apartment and it occasionally leaked. The kitchen stove is old. A lot of noise from the near street at nights when kids have parties.
My bike was stolen right from my front door while I was sleeping.
The only good things are the absence of roaches and parking. Please make sure you have seen the apartment before you rent it!
