The Manahattan apts are glorified over priced housing projects. If you have kids and you care about their environment these are not the apartments for you. The rooms are spacious and bright but that's where the pleasantries end. They call themselves "vintage", more aptly they should be called "painted over all the old dust and dirt and every fixture". The vents were covered in dust and they just painted over them dust and all; the bathtub and sink were also painted with ordinary house paint; so every time you took a shower/bath or washed your hands the paint flaked off. The doors and windows swell shut to the point they don't open; heaven forbid there's be a fire. Roaches' Yes indeed! Lets talk about the drug deals and folks hanging outside all night drinking; my kids witnessed the passing of drugs and money more than once right out in plain view. I believe the basement was used as a public toilet because when you went down there to do laundry you couldn't help noticing the smell. Don't even talk about the washers and dryers poor excuse for laundry facilities. But hey now they have a shiny new place to get your laundry done. Good for them; they came through after all.
