I have lived at Smoky Crossing for 4 years and love it! I lived in a 1 bedroom and then a 2 bedroom with sunporch. I'll be moving out in 2 months because I'm moving to Denver, CO, but if I was staying here, I'd stay at Smoky Crossing. There's a huge field and walking trail to walk dogs, pool, playground, and I feel VERY safe here. The gym's not all that great, but I don't use it a lot. The staff is ok - most are nice some aren't the best, but you get that anywhere. It's VERY quite and in the 4 years I've lived here, I've never heard anything through the walls, so they've got to be pretty thick (2 different apartments). All appliances are great and maintenance requests are taken care pretty promptly. All of the neighbors I've ever had are great. Price is a good thing and a bad thing here. It's pretty expensive and they ALWAYS go up on the rent (like..$50 per month), but it keeps a lot of people out that we don't want in there, so that's one good thing about it. I pay $825 for a 2 bedroom with sun porch and I think that's a fair price, but if I would've stayed, it would've been closer to $900. I want to know more about the water bills, does anyone have any thing to say about them? My husband and I are looking at the 1 BR 1.5 BA. I asked for an average electric bill and also the average water/sewage bill but they would not tell me. If they are really 100 each that's pretty crazy. Please let us know what your experience has been!! Thanks so much!
