I was very thrilled to move out of these apts or should I say Smyrna Projects. I dont believe they would be this way if they had professional management running them. Tonya is very inconsiderate of the residents and has no clue on how to manage an apartment complex.. They have roaches and she wont spray... I asked several times she made it seem like it was no big deal and she would have someone out asap.. Whatever! She never did.. She rents to anyone.. Mostly trash...Steve is always there but has no say so in the rules of the property.. I think thats ridiculous. they dont have enough dumpsters and there are always trash all over the premises. No, they dont have a grounds man keeping it clean. You wont feel comfortable letting yours kids play outside because of all the pitt bulls that run around the apts. It takes them weeks to fix anything and they dont fix it correctly the first time.. So yeah your on your own.. I suggest checking out some other apts in smyrna before considering these..

The only time you see trash around is on the weekends when maintenance is off. Everyone deserves time off. You might ask yourself, where is the trash coming from? Can you say, tenants who throw it on the ground for someone else to pick up after. They do not rent to just anyone and I know that for a fact. A friend of mine was DENIED from moving there do to criminal charges years back. As far as spraying for bugs, that is done MONTHLY by Angell Pest Control. The gentleman who owns it is very nice and I have met him several times when he sprayed my unit. All dogs are on leashes...fyi

I have not seen trash around. I have seen some residents just sit the trash on the ground but why is that the fault of the management?

My God, why didn't I find this website sooner. I relocated from San Diego, and found this place through the For Rent website. Everything you say is 100% true. Read my review. I had roaches from day one to day 180 of my 6 month lease. I would find maintenance receipts saying the unit was sprayed, but nothing worked. My carpets were also stained and the place smelled terrible. There was enough pet dander in my unit to keep inhaler makers in business forever. I have no axe to grind here. I'm not speaking for everyone at Fairway Meadows, I'm only agreeing with "anonymous" because it's so similar to what happened to me.
