I've lived here at Fairway for almost a year, and though I will be moving soon it is not because this place is just unbearable. The maintenance man is competent, though for things beyond his skill it can take months to get things fixed.Steve is the front office is nice, though the lady is mostly indifferent or too busy to give you her full attention- because her personal life is that important. The pool is a pond, and kids do run wild. There have been a few screaming matches in the parking lot, but it's an apartment complex. When the kids drove me nuts I just went out and told them i was studying and to please either keep it down or move along and they were polite about it. The apartment is different in that it has exposed wood beams, but I liked that and used it in my decorating choices (and no, it was not like a hunting lodge). The way the living room runs straight to the kitchen was a bit annoying, but I liked having the loft space. I have come to miss central heat/air. We had a gnat problem but were able to take care of it on our own. The reason we're moving is to be closer to work and because it is a bit louder than a student will like. Its not perfect, but its a decent place to live.
