The rental price per square ft. is much lower than closer in to town.
For the price of a one bedroom, I can get a 2 bedroom unit here. It is farther to drive. There is less crime than South Nashville where cars are regularly broken in to. There are fewer "ghetto" people out here. If you are planning on taking I-24 to work in the morning towards Nashville, you must leave before 6:15AM to avoid slowdowns/gridlock.
Some of the apartments have heat pumps that make a loud noise at times when they operate. That is caused by fluid flowing through an orifice. That can be bothersome. At first it sounds like someone is in your apartment until you get used to it. Some of the apartments here do not have that type of heat pump or one that is not as noisy. It can be loud enough to wake you up, if you are a light sleeper. It can't be fixed without replacing the heat pump. That is one reason why you won't be paying luxury apartment rent here also.
The staff has been friendly. I have always had good and prompt service from them. If anyone tells you otherwise, then they are liars or complain about minor items.
Before you sign the lease they will not let you see a copy of it. One reason is that they have a surprise "no drug" clause/paper that they ask you to sign. I am not sure why they do it that way.
As of now there is plenty of parking, and you can even have a space for your boat.
