I just got accepted to school out here in Abilene,

These apartments need renovation BADLY. They SAY they did a million dollar renovation, but there's no evidence they did anything but pocket the money.

The outlets don't even hold any chords they're so crooked and old. And my new tv's always going out because the plugs fall out.

3 months here now and management STILL hasn't fixed them despite my reports and complaining.
ALSO

the counter tops,bath tub,sinks,burner covers etc are DISGUSTING. Stains, burn marks, grime and etc all over them
NOTHING has been updated since what looks like the 70's.

It's NOT SAFE. here either. I've had guys here harass me and follow me screaming at me in their car and saying disgusting and nasty things at me, while I walked to my mailbox alone. Management did nothing and they LIVE here. They've even done this to a few other females here at night. It's scary

also some really scary guys from the neighborhood put GRAFFITI all on the fence and knocked a section of the fence out where they've been using it as a door to come in and out in the complex to cause trouble and dump their garbage like liquor bottles and etc.

Its been a month now and management still hasn't fixed the fence so they can stay out, and a lot of us have complained. They don't care about our possession being broke into or our safety. as long as they make money.

Also The first week I moved here I had the lock to my gas tank broke and all my gas sucked out. THAT was fun. management also did nothing. and I was out $30. Id just filled my tank up.

They also "painted" the apartment before we came in, and it's awful. there's paint all OVER the carpet, drips hanging off the mantle, paint splatter on the cabinets,counters,ceiling and everywhere it looks like someone just splattered paint everywhere. It's sad they just slop on paint like that without regard to the people giving them rent and LIVING in a place like that.

Also the 7/11 next door is terrible. There's always people fighting over there,threatening to kill each other and playing loud music and racing so you don't get a minute of peace.They tend to wander over here at night too and break into our cars or harass anyone that's outside their apartment.

It really is a lousy neighborhood. and a very very old apartment complex with disgusting appliances that need renovation badly. They should have used that million dollars on fixing up the apartments. So far I haven't a clue what they did with the money.

Also the pool is GREEN and disgusting. the management is LAZY. She always says she'll fix the plugs, or the fence or etc. or take care of whatever is broken and it NEVER HAPPENS. They just collect your money. Even when I told her one of the dryers was broken she said she'd put up a sign. she didn't even do THAT so people were still losing money from the broken dryer that she wouldn't put a sign up for. What a greedy person!

the laundry room by the way has no dryers that work properly. be prepared to pay ten bucks just to do one load of laundry. Id recommend just going down the road and using a laundry mat.

what a crap hole. I cant WAIT to move. I just transferred to school in corpus so I can get out of this town and this GROSS apartment! especially the sinks. there's 30 years of grime rust and God knows what else on there. In all this place has disgusting conditions, no help, no concern for safety or fixing problems.

oh and ladies.

there's no plugs in the bathrooms, and they wont fix that. so...good luck with your hair!

The pictures are very misleading, do not live in this dump.

It's literally like living in the ghetto. I'm so concerned for my safety, my possessions, and even my well being with how dirty and old these apartments are.

It wouldn't be so bad if they'd just CARE about their tenants and not treat them like crap while they collect my money.

can't wait to move!
