I moved into Cimarron after living in a horrible rent house, that was in a less desirable part of town. When my husband and I first moved in the staff was very welcoming, and very friendly. They did inform us that the complex used to be Eastern Oaks 2, but had since changed management completely, making it now Cimarron. Where do I begin, the grounds are beautiful, the apartments were very clean, and smelled great when we moved in. We even had a lab, that we were able to bring with us. This particular property was very pet friendly, every time we went into the office our dog was greeted with treats, and us with friendly smiling faces. We never never had pest problems, but were told if we ever did, that they sprayed every thursday. Any time we had a maintenance issue, or something broke, it was fixed that very same day, and they never had to make repeat visits! As for the safety issues that some people claim to have had in the past (hammer!) there is an Abilene Police Seargant who actually LIVES on the property, I would see him everywhere, he was always patrolling. They whole staff was very nice, and super friendly! If we hadn't of moved into a house, I would still love to live there! All these other comments are shocking, and the only thing I can say, is these people must be absolutely miserable, to post comments like these! So take a happy persons word of advice, this is a fantastic place to live, I recommend it for everybody, and you will never hear one complaint from me. God bless :)
