If you already havnt heard about fairmont, they are not very clean/safe. I lived there for a few years and every time i renewed my contract it would go up 10 dollars. Also the gas prices would go higher and they charge you a predetermined price for the size of the apt that month, even though i wasnt using the amount i was being charged for. Over at pine meadows and willow crest they would not raise the rent prices and they are in the same location. I asked why they were doing this and they said due to the current market value the apts were going up. Well that may be, but it is b/s to raise the rent since they never re-model or make any improvments. It seems they only ever do the bare minimum and it was a pain to get them to replace outside lights which are a safety problem. My apt was in good shape compared to other ones i had seen there. I only had a few roaches pop up after they would spray but this is texas and most apts will get them. I had a friend living in the smallest 1bdrm and had roaches all the time, but the roaches i guess would depend on mostly on the nieghbors or you yourself. I also had some major problems: my motorcycle would get pushed over constantly, gunshots, people acting suspicious late at night and ready to pull a gun on me, stray dogs and cats, people trying to break in my apt while im home, people doing/dealing drugs, and the worst was my neighbor being shot in the head and dying in front of my apt while i called 911 because of what i heard to be a drug deal gone bad.
