We have lived at fairmont for about one year because at the time we moved in that was all we could find. I should have known this would happen when they showed us the apartment without the electricity turned on. But I had this faith in humanity. However our a/c has never worked. Our heater blows hot then cold air so it is worthless. Below our staircase raw sewage runs out into the parking lot at least once a month. The water gets turned off all the time. There is a hole the size of a dinner plate in our bathroom vanity, and for the past two months our roof has been leaking so much that we have a hole in the ceiling in one room, and mold and peeling paint in the ceiling corner and carpet of another room. I have developed asmatic symptoms. And they won't fix anything. We have called and sent letters and begged them to fix things and all they will do is make excuses or flat lie to you. They have told us repeatedly that it was already fixed.. oddly though when it rains my floor is still wet'' Could it be they are full of sh**' DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH FAIRMONT!!!!

I had to add an amendment to this. After following the laws sending written requests by certified mail and waiting and the roof still not getting fixed. We were told that we were to be "released" from our lease. They even told us they would give us part of our money back for our last month if we turned our keys in early. We did turn our keys in but were told to come back on another day to get the check. Since I would have to miss work to get the check and since it was not going to be for much and since I just wanted to be rid of these people, I never went back. Now a year later we get a call from a collections agency saying we owe Fairmont like $2600.

So seriously do not even talk to Fairmont they will try to screw you before you even get in the door.

my sister in law just signed a lease there. i tried to talk her out of it, but shes stubborn and refused to listen. ive known ppl who live there and they complained about alot of the same problems you had, i just hope for the sake of her children that the management is more attentive.
