MURDER DETAILS FROM AMERICA'S MOST WANTED:
It was September 18th, five days before Jennifer's 23rd birthday.
Abilene police were faced with a perplexing murder scene.
Jennifer died as a result of trauma to the head and strangulation. She was found fully clothed, yet an autopsy revealed she had been sexually assaulted. It appeared she had been murdered in the living room, but for some unknown reason, the killer had moved her body to the bathroom.
Her purse, her cellphone and several DVD's were missing from the apartment, but there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment and no signs of a struggle, which made the police wonder - did Jennifer know her killer'
Neither her credit cards nor her phone have been used since her death.
Jennifer's murder was only the second homicide in Abilene that year, but in a bizarre coincidence the first homicide took place in the same apartment complex, a short time before Jennifer arrived in Texas. That killer had surrendered to police and was in jail at the time of Jennifer's murder.
