Screwed out of deposit upon leaving

I was told during the final walk-through that I would get my deposit back minus a SMALL fee for having to have 2 spots on the carpet CLEANED. No big deal ... right''
Well.... 20 phone calls and A MONTH later, I finally get in touch with Gary. I'm told "We had to use your deposit for cleaning. The stove and refrigerator were dirty." (well the stove was used like 5 times the whole time I lived there and I NEVER used the fridge, I used the freezer to store frozen pizza's once. I ate out ALL THE TIME).
It took a month to get anyone to talk to me about getting my deposit back, (Gary was ALWAYS busy and even leaving a number for him to call me back...... I had to continually pursue the issue) then after being told that the apartment was in great shape upon leaving, once speaking to him, it was in such bad shape that my full deposit had to be used to clean it''
That's bullroar. There is no way on God's green Earth that I would recommend this place to ANYONE, no matter how desperate in need you are of an apartment in Abilene!
Let's not take into account that I had LUKE-WARM water to say the least, or the fact that I asked for the bathroom tub fixture to be changed out the whole time I was there and it NEVER was. This is AFTER being harassed by the two previous owners of the complex (the ownership changed hands like it was a commodity in a poker game), being threatened to be thrown out for stupid crap. I had 7 eviction notices back in June-ish from the management, did what they asked until I got a bill from them with NO EXPLAINATION AS to what the money was owed for. At that point, I decided it was time to GTFO. Between June and September management changed AGAIN and this is who I just finished dealing with.
If you're a glutton for punishment, by all means, move into Hunter's Ridge, you'll get your sado-masochistic kicks fulfilled. If you're not a sado.. I would run for the hills.
