I recently read the reviews we had received. I happen to work in the office, but I started off as a resident. (I still live here) First of all, our maintenance does the best they can do, they might not always finish the job in one day, but it gets done. What people don't understand is we only have limited maintenance men and we have 376 units. People need to be more patient and understanding. As far as our manager, yes one of his main concerns is that rent is paid on time, just like any other apartment complex. That is his business, it is expected to pay rent on time. When residents sign the lease contract you are agreeing to pay on time. If you can't do that, expect the consequences. I am not just saying this because I work here, but like I said I started off as a resident and I didn't have anything to complain about. About the office staff, we don't make the rules, we just follow them. If a resident comes in rude and cussing, we will not take it.
Honestly, for the price and the space you are getting, Las Brisas is a good place to live. We have residents that have lived here since these apts were built, so obviously that tells you we must be doing something right.
For those of you who wrote negatively about these apartments, why come off "ANONYMOUSLY", you don't have the courage to say who you are'

To reply to this comment, I have to say that it reflects a little of what some of the previous 'bad' reviews have confirmed. Just because the "manager" has to deal with late rent does not give him the right to be rude or use profanity when talking with a resident for any reason. These apartment complexes' are supposed to be a business and in business you have to focus on customer service in oprder to attract the "ideal" resident. If your manager continues to be unprofessional and charge damage on things that are easily damaged (such as those cheap sliding door blinds that break after two days of moving in) the complex is going to continue to decline in value and appearence, even more on top of the busted water mains and desert like landscaping. Your attitude to attack the 'anonymus' writers are also immature and unprofessional. Please take this tip from a previous resident seeking an MBA in business. Just look at the reviews for Riata Ranch--despite the crappy air conditioning- the residents dont complain because of the PROFESSIONAL_CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED management. Do some research than post a reply.
