We lived at Mill Creek from Oct 2004 until Aug 2006 and it was a nice place. The management did change while we lived there and you could tell. My husband and I lived in a corner 2/2 on the bottom so it was an ideal apt. You only shared 1 wall and could almost always park right by the front door. Its difficult to find an apt in Abilene w/ washer/dryer hookups so this one fits that bill. We NEVER saw 1 single roach the whole 2 years we lived there. We had some ants coming into our kitchen one time through a crack in the window but as soon as we told the office they took care of it right away. The pool area is nice, I wouldn't recommend the fitness area (too small and outdated equip). We did have a dog (we cleaned up after each outing) and it seemed like there were quite a few people with dogs and the property was very clean of droppings. One complaint I do have is that there never seemed to be enough room in the garbage bin, it was constantly being filled to over flowing and since our apt was on the corner right next to the bin we would have to step around the trash on the ground. But, that being said, it was the tenants fault for not following the trash rules and putting things like furniture in the trash bins. Over all it was a great place to live, great neighbors and office staff.
