1.)Staff is rude.
2.)Slow to fix problems.
3.)Rent is way more than any other Abilene apartment complex.
4.)Horrible insulation causing horrific electric bills and I can hear my neighbors having sex.
5.)Trash compactor smells horrible and sometimes the smell gets into the apartment.
6.)Bad Parking lot lighting.
7.)Potholes to drive through most of the time (they fix them once every couple of months but since they don't fix them right, they are usually back within a couple of weeks.
8.)They water the road, not the grass. But this cost of watering is reflected in your community water bill. Community water bills are crap! I don't like that I have to pay for Joe-Jackoff's 45 minute, twice a day shower habit.
9.) Apartments are built crooked (I know it sounds crazy). The door is crooked. The concrete of the patio is crooked. The metal railings are crooked. The wndows are crooked(this makes for a huge electric bill). And the staff is crooked (anyone who raises rent $130 within a year is a freakin thief).
10.) Bugs galore!!!
11.) They have a channel on their cable hookup that has slides that repromands and threatens tenants.
12.)If you ever get a chance to see how their cable is hooked up, you'll be amazed how many homes one cable hookup can be split into. On a normal house, COX recommends that no more than 3 cables be split off of one signal. They have at least 8, possibly 16, lines split off of one signal. This makes the cable (that they charge extra for) a very weak signal. And even with the best cable internet modem, you might as well get dial up because it is that slow and weak because of the splitting of the cable lines.
