Having to move to Abilene in itself is no treat, but trying to find decent housing for a family with small children is even more difficult. Quail Hollow is nice temporary housing. No, I would not want to live there long only because of it being an apartment community. You have to be quiet- nothing is yours to make any decisions about- you are at the mercy of the office. We lasted less than a year.But, the apartments are clean and the neighbors are friendly. I had no problems with maintenence at all- the play areas for the children are a huge life saver- NO other apartments in Abilene have anything close to the facilities for families that Quail Hollow has- I felt completely safe there- most of the time I never even locked my door. We have a number of compliants about noise and our dog- the office staff was generally rude about them- the move out list is outragous and most renters feel like they will try to get your money one way or another. But, it was a blessing for me and my family but I am glad to move on to my own property.
