My wife and I have only been here a month and a half and have already had to call maintenance FOUR times about the ant infestation in our apartment. We had to replace an iron that was full of ants inside of it as well all over it and just this morning we threw away food with ants inside of the packaging. Ants are in our shower constantly, my xbox, on our television, on clothes in our closets, and we see one or two just crawling on the wall throughout the day all over the apartment. This has been a problem since the night we moved in. Every time we call they remind us that the exterminator only comes on Tuesday, no matter what day we call, and when he comes he always suggest what 'we can buy to control the ant problem that we seem to be the only ones having'. They actually think we brought the ants and I guess planted them before we moved in in order to complain about them. The apartments look nice but they do bite! No need to bring your own ants, they got plenty here!

we just moved out of quail hollow about a month ago and we had the same problem with ants coming out of the walls, counters, and showers. Not only did we have ants but we had fleas in both bedrooms of the apartment. We wound up having to take care of the problem ourselves by locating all the holes the ants were coming out of and spraying pesticide in and around them then caulking the holes up. after we did that the ant problem went away for a few months but ultimately came back.
